Sugar Giana Brigham

Sugar Giana, age 15, crossed the rainbow bridge to heaven, peacefully, surrounded by love, after a life well-lived. Born on or around February 1, 2009, Sugar’s journey began in the humble halls of cell block C8962. But she always knew she was destined for more. Her life changed forever in August 2010 when she was adopted by her Mommy and her family, who gave her a home filled with unconditional love, care, and countless cuddles. Sugar was a warrior. Despite being a mere 6 pounds and facing countless health challenges—including liver deficiencies, dislocated hips, and other ailments—Sugar defied all odds with her feisty determination. She was a survivor who refused to be counted out, proving time and time again that her will to live and love was stronger than any obstacle. Though small in stature, Sugar possessed a “pit bull attitude” and a heart full of joy. She loved being the center of attention, soaking up cuddles, and sharing her spunky spirit with everyone she met. While toys weren’t her thing, she delighted in outdoor adventures, sunny naps, and the thrill of a good car ride. Her boundless optimism and vivacious personality made her a beloved companion to all who knew her. Sugar’s final farewell, while bittersweet, was a testament to her enduring love for her family. Even as her small body grew weary, her spirit remained strong. Her Mommy, who loved her beyond measure, knew when it was time to let her go to heaven, where endless sunshine and peace awaited her. Sugar is preceded in death by her Uncle Rascal, Aunt Sheba, cousin Diamond, brothers rabbit Radio, turtle Dubbs, and plecostomus P Black. Most notably, she joins her cherished grandfather and cuddle buddy, Glenn “Pops” Rondo, in eternal rest. She leaves behind a loving legacy, carried on by her cousins Sadie and Kookie, her devoted Mommy and Daddy, Gladys and Detroit, her special aunts Missy and Kisha, and her beloved G Mom, who cared for her with unwavering devotion through every season of her life. Sugar’s human family and countless friends will forever cherish the memories of her spunky spirit and endless love. Sugar Giana lived a life that reminded us all of the beauty of resilience, the joy of simple pleasures, and the power of love. Though she may no longer be with us, her paw prints will remain etched in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully, sweet Sugar. You were truly one of a kind.
