We rescued her from a kennel in 2012. We hadn't really meant to get a dog that day but was driving by this kennel on our way home from visiting our son in Logan County. Our son is a "dog lover" and so are we. We decided to stop and look at the doggies. Walking through we saw many large dogs but came to this little "Jack Russell", she was so cute! And just jumping up and down as high as her cage as if to say "Please take me". We took her outside and played with her a little and decided she should be a part of our lives. God led us to her! She filled our life with many happy moments and she was so smart. My husband and I could talk to her and she just seemed to understand like a child. She loved to ride in the car and knew all the people at the drive-in windows, the bank, the fast food places or where ever she could get a 'treat'. She would hop up to the window of the car and stare at the person in charge and we would say "Well, tell them" and she would give them one bark loud and clear so she would get a treat. Everybody loved her so much, neighbors & friends. But, her body gave out and she couldn't jump anymore. Her legs gave out and she was suffering. She is in dog heaven and we are grieving. We love you Billie Jo.
