Gray Bachus
June 1, 2012 - December 31, 2019
Gray you were always so smart and stayed right by grandpa’s side. You cuddled with and stayed with grandpa after we lost grandma. Then when I started teaching online from home you cuddled with me at my desk during school. As time went on, you spent more and more time with grandpa sitting with him, napping with him, eating beside him, and walking with him to make sure he was okay. Gray often you would come meowing and pawing on my closed office door until I opened the door. Then you ran right over to grandpa. Gray, I realized after I checked that almost every time you did this: that grandpa’s sugar either changed and went too high or too low or he was running a fever. Gray your whole life you were such a strong fighter. You fought to live outside as a stray until I took you inside. You fought through a heart murmur. You fought through eye issues. You fought through asthma and then diabetes. You fought through your last days and hours to stay with us. Gray you were worth it all. You were worth all the vet trips, emergency trips, medicines and costs. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Everyone at Healthy Pets of Westgate also loved you like we did. During your 7 years of life, you brought such happiness and love to us. Gray go run and be free. Find your brothers and sisters; Ms. Kitty, Pepper, Blackie and Lola. We will miss and love you forever.
