MiMi Meade
February 1, 2007 - May 28, 2021
It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Mimi. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 28, 2021. Her life was special in so many ways, but most especially that she committed her entire life to our family. Our children have vivid memories of meeting Mimi for the first time, with her face just a little bit too small for her fluffy body - something that never really changed. Mimi was loyal to us all and kind to every stranger she met. She served as the pack leader for several years, and her younger sisters lovingly waited for Mimi to do everything first. As years passed her by, Mimi played a huge role in socializing many foster puppies that came through our home. Mimi eventually became known as the “grouchy old girl” who would bark at the younger pups when they got out of line, but not without moving from wherever she was laying. Mimi could be found most days sitting in her window seat easy chair watching the neighbors pass by and barking happily. This was the highlight of her life and gave her such joy. Mimi was lucky enough to travel with our family to several states throughout her life and even once visited the ocean. Although she was not picky when it came to human food, pasta was always her favorite. Until her last day, Mimi could be found laying and waiting at the feet of whomever happened to have food. In fact, her last meal was her favorite, Fazolis pasta. The memories we have of the more than 14 years spent with Mimi will live in our hearts and continue to bring peace in times of despair. Mimi leaves behind three sisters, Macy, Maggie and Bella, along with her human mom and dad, and 4 human siblings, Jeffrey, Breanna, Austin, and Cierra.
