Cooper Detty

Cooper Lane aka "Pooper, Pooh Bear, Sissy" Our beautiful Great Dane. Our beautiful Great Dane, Cooper Lane, was born September 12th 2013. Sadly she passed on May 20th, 2023 at 9:00pm. After a sudden illness, Cooper was finally given the relief she needed to step across the rainbow bridge. Thank you to Ohio State Veterinary Hospital for their comfort and love they provided us and our sweet girl. We are truly grateful. French Poet Anatole France once said, " Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." If you have ever had the opportunity to love a dog, then you know this sentiment is true. Cooper wasn't your ordinary dog. She was a furry human. She loved everyone and anyone. She had a soft spot for little dogs and even some big ones. But most of all, she loved her human family. She was our gentle giant. Our girl. Our baby. She stole our bed, our couch, our food, but mainly our hearts. Her passing has caused a huge empty space, that will be very hard to fill. So we spend our days reminiscing on all the good time's and silly thing's she would do. Cooper loved her blanket, aka "Woogie." She spent most of her time cuddling it and sucking on it like a pacifier. In the evenings she would join us on our couch demanding rubs and kisses. She got anything and everything she wanted. She was beyond spoiled. She was spoiled rotten. She loved going camping and taking rides in the jeep. She was such a happy girl. We laugh at how she greeted everyone by putting her head between their legs when they came to greet her. Or how she would give out the loudest cry if she didn't get to taste what was on your plate. She enjoyed her butt being patted/rubbed. Her excitement over visitors was just the cutest ever. This girl didn't have a mean bone in her body. She was all about love. Something she has taught us over the year's. These are just a few of the things we will miss. Cooper chose her name and she chose us and we want her to know how truly grateful we are for the 9 1/2 year's she was with us. Cooper Lane is survived by her two legged Parents Mama Destiny and Daddy Oz. Her two legged siblings Heavyn, Hailey, Mason, Dakoda and Levi, Her two legged Grandparents Mama Greta and Papa Joe. Her two legged Aunt Stephanie, Two legged Uncle Chad, Timmy and Sebastian. Many other two legged humans. Her four legged cousins, Jonah, Delilah, Gigi, Bruni, her lizard Torch and bird Loki. She has crossed the rainbow bridge to join her four legged sister's, Bella and Haddie Mae. Her four legged cousin Gizmo and cousin Buddy.
